Credera, a global boutique consulting firm focused on strategy, transformation, data, and technology, is pleased to announce the promotion of Matt DiBona to Credera’s Partner team.

Matt has over 20 years of experience in MarTech, analytics and customer segmentation, content management, and digital transformation within the wholesale distribution, retail, restaurant, construction, and field service industries.
At Credera, Matt has led the assessments and strategy development for several clients’ MarTech transformations, and is currently leading the implementation of a customer data platform and customer engagement platform for a Fortune 200 restaurant brand.
Prior to Credera, he led software selections, solution strategy development, and packaged system implementations for several large restaurant and construction and industrial companies in the areas of enterprise content management and retail technology. He also previously led the strategy, design, and implementation of reporting and analytics solutions to support sales, marketing, operations, supply chain, and franchise development.

Q&A With Matt DiBona:
What is and has been your focus during your time at Credera?
I am focused on leading the buildout of our marketing technology (MarTech) capabilities, team growth, partnerships, thought leadership, and successful delivery.
What were you doing before you joined Credera?
I was working for a smaller technology consultancy where I led their analytics and then digital transformation practices. Prior to that, I invested nine years at Interstate Batteries, where I led a retail technology and business intelligence team supporting marketing, store operations, supply chain, finance, and franchise development. I started my career out of Iowa State University at Ernst & Young in their management consulting practice, where I focused on telecom business process design work and packaged system implementations.
What led to your decision to join Credera originally?
The amazing people at Credera are what brought me here. At Interstate Batteries, I had the pleasure of working alongside several current Credera employees on the Dealer Universe initiative and was tremendously impressed.
How would you describe your approach to leadership?
My approach to leadership is to lead by example, put trust in the team, do what I can to help make them successful, and have fun along the way.
What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned in your career so far?
To not be afraid to ask for help. If everyone on the team asked for help when they needed it, and help were reciprocally given when needed, the outcome for the team (and thus the client) will be immensely better.
What are you most excited about now that you’re part of the Credera Partner team?
I look forward to collaborating more closely with the other members of an impressive Partner team on the direction and future of Credera; I’m humbled to be in their ranks.
