Credera Promotes Kevin King to Partner

Credera, a global, boutique consulting firm focused on strategy, innovation, data, and technology, is pleased to announce the promotion of Kevin King to Credera’s partner team.

Kevin joined Credera as a campus hire in 2008 and has had the privilege of experiencing first-hand the growth and development of the firm over the years. He brings over 14 years of experience to the team, adding value to not only the marketing technology and digital transformation spaces, but across a variety of industries and channels as well. With a passion for technology and a curiosity for learning new things, Kevin is always leaning into new challenges and ideas to serve his clients and teams better.

Kevin graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in management of information systems.Outside of work, he is an avid sports fan who loves to read, cook, and play golf. Above all things, he enjoys spending time with his wife Rachel and two boys, Sam and Caleb. 

We sat down with Kevin to learn more about his journey toward joining the Credera partner team.

Q&A With Kevin King:

What are you focusing on now that you’re a partner at Credera?

My primary focus areas are marketing technology and digital transformation, and a primary industry focus is in the pharmaceutical and healthcare space.

What led to your decision to join originally?

The people—I had no idea how to build software, but I fell in love with the company and the amazing people. After that, the rest was just details and hard work to learn how to be a great consultant (which is something I’m still working on!).

How would you describe your approach to leadership? 

Personal and authentic. I’ve had so many great leaders invest in me over the years, I’m constantly coming from a place of attempting to pay it forward by serving the people I work with and celebrating the success of those around me. I also love to laugh and remind everyone I’m around that life is too short to be stressed or anxious—we have a bigger purpose and should enjoy the moments along the way as much as we can.

What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned in your careers so far? 

It’s very difficult to do anything on your own. When you put your faith and trust in the people around you, things tend to turn out well. That has been the rock of my experience through both the good and challenging times.

Also, in addition to the Credera family, there’s no way I would be where I am today without my family. My wife and partner in crime, Rachel, has been as dedicated to my professional success as I have, and this has truly been one of the biggest factors in my career growth. Everything from shouldering the load of two crazy kids while I was traveling or being my greatest source of encouragement, I owe so much to her and the incredible role she’s played in this journey over the past 10+ years.

What are you most excited about now that you’re part of the Credera partner team?

My dream has always been to “hang things up” after a long career with Credera. That was my hope when I joined the firm—that this was a place I would be at for a very long time. Thankfully, that continues to be an encouraging and incredibly realistic path.
