Credera, a global, boutique consulting firm focused on strategy, innovation, data, and technology, is pleased to announce the promotion of Cristina Niver to Credera’s partner team.
“Cristina has made a huge impact as the Management Consulting Practice lead and is an exceptional business operator and people-first leader,” says Justin Bell, Credera global CEO and president. “I’m proud to watch her continue to excel as a part of the Credera partner team.”
Cristina joined the firm as a senior consultant in 2012 and now leads the national Management Consulting Practice. Cristina is focused on leading the team through people development, operations, and service offerings support. Throughout her consulting career, Cristina has worked across multiple industries including healthcare, consumer goods, retail, chemical, and communications. She has over 12 years of consulting experience, bringing expertise in program and project leadership, requirements gathering and analysis, solution design, and process re-engineering.
Prior to joining Credera, Cristina was a consultant at Deloitte where she supported data analysis and system implementations. She also spent time as an educator in the Dallas-Fort Worth area teaching high school algebra and geometry with Teach For America.
Cristina graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and as a Mays Business School Fellow. She also served on The Ursuline Academy of Dallas Alumnae Board and is now involved in the Home and School Association at her daughters’ elementary school. Cristina loves to spend time with her husband Nick and three daughters, Carla, Nora, and Lucia.
We sat down with Cristina to learn more about her journey toward joining the Credera partner team.
Q&A With Cristina Niver:
What are you focusing on at Credera?
My role over the past three years has been to lead and pour into the Management Consulting Practice. I want to ensure all of our team members feel like they are part of a community and have a career where they feel valued and known.
What led to your decision to join Credera originally?
I joined Credera because of the incredibly talented and kind people I met during the interview process. Everyone I met impressed me in not only how they approached their craft, but also how they approached our conversations and getting to know one another—it was clear they cared for their teams deeply, and I wanted to be a part of that support and coaching structure.
How would you describe your approach to leadership?
Even though I was a teacher for only a short period of time, I still think of myself as leading as a teacher. My goal is for people to learn, grow, and develop into their best selves and accomplish their goals, and I try to focus on progress versus perfection.
What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned in your career so far?
You’ve probably sensed a theme by now, but the most important lesson I carry with me is that every single experience in our careers has a learning opportunity tied to it—the worst projects, the conflicts, difficult clients, hard timelines—all of those make us better professionals, consultants, and humans.
What are you most excited about now that you’re a part of the Credera partner team?
When I think about being on the partner team, I am most excited about being part of the vision casting for our future as a firm and ensuring that we maintain our core values as we evolve together.
