Credera Partners with Rebuilding Together Houston

Ally White

When Hurricane Harvey made landfall in late August, many of our friends and family in Houston were negatively impacted. Credera is eager to provide continued support and serve the city of Houston.

We are excited to announce that we will be partnering with Rebuilding Together Houston.

Rebuilding Together Houston restores hope and revitalizes neighborhoods by repairing homes. Rebuilding Together Houston takes a long-term view which aligns with Credera’s approach to service.

Helping the People of Houston

Over the next year, Crederians from our Dallas, Denver, and Houston offices will have an opportunity to be a part of “build days,” where they can rebuild and restore homes affected by Hurricane Harvey. Credera will be sponsoring each build day and is excited to partner with an organization like Rebuilding Together Houston in the relief efforts.

“We are excited to continue to serve our commuity through the partnership with Rebuilding Together Houston,” says Kevin McDonald, vice president of Credera Houston. “It’s exciting to know we have a common goal, and that goal is to provide long-term relief and recovery to those impacted by Hurricane Harvey.”

In addition to the build days, Credera has made an initial cash donation and provided Credera Houston and other employees that have impacted family members 40 additional hours of paid time off to help others.

Servant Leadership

Credera is a workplace made up of servant leaders, the kind of people who work to think of others first and make a positive impact. This service mentality not only applies to serving local communities but also coworkers and clients.

The people at Credera invest time, talent, and resources into people and programs that they are passionate about. Each year, Credera holds a company-wide Service Day that gives employees the opportunity to engage in volunteer activities that create a meaningful impact. Past partnerships have included Mercy Street, World Vision, and Habitat for Humanity.
