Credera, a full-service management and technology consulting firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of Cody Case as of May 1, 2019.
Cody joined Credera in 2011 as an Architect in the Mobile Solutions practice. Cody has played many important roles at Credera including leading our Mobile Solutions practice and several key client relationships.
Prior to joining Credera, Cody’s experience included ten years of leading customer technology and enterprise architecture initiatives in the retail, electric and travel industries.
“Cody and I first worked together 16 or 17 years ago at American Airlines.” says Justin Bell, President of Credera. “We were both young and worked on the Application Support team for AA.com. Cody then joined Credera about eight years ago. In that time, he’s progressed from being an incredible Solutions Architect to being that plus an incredible leader of people and trusted advisor of his clients. I’m very excited to have Cody on our Partner team.”
As a Vice President, Cody will play an important leadership role as it relates to working with our clients on their technology and digital needs. He’ll also continue to play a key role in leading and developing our people.
We sat down with Cody for a quick Q&A:
what led to your decision to join credera?
I knew I would try consulting at some point in my career but had been hesitant due to the reputation of high travel and 80+ hour weeks required at some firms. I had observed Credera from afar for a few years and saw they were different – people I knew who worked there were growing, advancing and staying. When it came time for a change I only made one call.
how would you describe your approach to leadership?
Transparency – I firmly believe if everyone understands how their role benefits the client, the team and their career goals that uncommonly great things will happen. In my experience, the process to build this level of transparency leads to strong relationships and grows future leaders.
what’s the most important lesson you’ve learned in your career so far?
If you’re feeling comfortable in your job you are probably getting stagnant – some amount of uncertainty is a healthy and natural part of growth.
what are you passionate about outside of the office?
When I’m away from the office I enjoy being with my family, cooking, traveling and sports car racing.
what are you most excited about as credera continues to grow?
The challenge of scaling the culture that makes Credera special is uniquely exciting to me. Companies like Southwest Airlines have done this well so I know we can grow without sacrificing the values of humility, excellence, professionalism and integrity that appealed to all of us when we joined the firm!
