Credera Anticipates Bright Future as a Member of Omnicom Group

We are excited to announce that Credera has joined the Omnicom portfolio as a strategic part of Omnicom Precision Marketing Group (OPMG), the digital and customer relationship management (CRM) specialist group within Omnicom Group Inc. (NYSE: OMC). This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Credera’s employees and clients. The strategic partnership will provide both Credera and OPMG continued success and growth, while maintaining the unique Credera brand, culture, values, and leadership team.

Omnicom Precision Marketing Group, led by Luke Taylor, former Digitas CEO, was launched in September of 2017. OPMG works with clients and agencies across Omnicom to infuse data and personalization into creative and media through its Omni platform. Credera’s newly formed connection with the other agencies as a part of the OPMG portfolio will expose the firm’s management consulting, technology solutions, and user experience expertise to Omnicom’s expansive list of clients.

During the acquisition process, Omnicom evaluated “hundreds and hundreds” of other consulting firms, according to Taylor. They landed on Credera because of strong testimonials from its clients.

“Credera is unique in terms of attrition, retention and client satisfaction, and we don’t want to mess with that,” Taylor said. “We’ll look at how we package go-to-market propositions where we can go to clients with a clearly defined process, methodology, and tools.”

For Omnicom, acquiring Credera is a strategic investment because it adds a management consulting and technology services layer on top of its already impressive MarTech offerings. According to Taylor, this is an opportunity to boost OPMG’s increasingly essential services around marketing transformation.
