
At Credera, we recently held a month-long internal Agentforce hackathon, inviting teams from across the business to experiment, collaborate, and bring their concepts to life with Salesforce. In this blog, the winning team shares their reflections on the process, practical lessons learned, and how Agentforce can shape the future of AI-driven problem solving for our clients.
Why run an Agentforce hackathon
AI is transforming industries at a rapid pace, and Salesforce continues to lead with frequent new AI announcements – some of which were recently unveiled at Agentforce World Tour London [link to Keir’s World Tour blog]. As a result, our clients are increasingly turning to us for practical guidance on adopting Agentforce. We saw the hackathon as an ideal way for us to get hands-on with the latest Agentforce capabilities, learn quickly, and explore how we can deliver real-world benefits for our clients.
What is a hackathon
A hackathon in general is a collaborative event where people – often programmers and other tech-minded individuals – come together to work on a project, typically involving software development, within a limited timeframe. Credera's hackathon was exactly that: an internal, month-long competition. For our internal Agentforce hackathon, we organised a month-long competition, forming cross-functional teams that combined functional and technical expertise. Each team developed a use case or idea for a Salesforce Agentforce agent, then worked together to build a working demo, quickly iterating and refining their solutions to bring their concepts to life.
What we learned
1. Idea generation
Taking dedicated time to brainstorm with colleagues allowed us to explore ways to better support our customers. Bringing together different perspectives, shaped by varied work experiences, was both stimulating and rewarding. This collaborative approach shone through in the practical, real-world applicable solutions we developed.
2. With Agentforce, you can move fast
Even with busy schedules and only a few hours a week to spare, we found Agentforce enabled us to experiment and deliver results quickly. We were able to produce working demos in a very short time, and the process sparked even more ideas for future development.
3. No code required
All teams involved in the hackathon succeeded in building impressive solutions without writing a single line of code. For some, this was their first time using Agentforce beyond Trailhead, and it was enlightening to see just how far we could go using only point-and-click configuration to address real-world problems.
4. Endless possibilities
One key takeaway was the sheer number of possibilities Agentforce opens up. As we started to develop our ideas, we continually discovered new ways Agentforce could assist both customers and internal users with everyday tasks. This became especially clear during conversations with customers at Agentforce World Tour, where we showcased our demos. 5. Starting the AI journey By the end of the hackathon, the competing teams had created several working demos, including:
An agent for specialist underwriters to review large volumes of information, analyse data, and identify risks.
A mortgage broker agent that provided portfolio clarity, highlighted gaps in coverage, and generated comprehensive reports with recommendations.
An agent to help mortgage customers assess their mortgage eligibility.
Our winning agent: WEBA

It was a closely fought contest with some excellent results, but in the end, our team won with WEBA: the WellBeing Agent. WEBA is designed to support student wellbeing at university by making it easy for students to access information about wellbeing services, discover additional support resources, and book services whenever they need them.
The bottom line
Credera’s internal Agentforce hackathon gave us a practical, hands-on opportunity to explore the power and potential of Agentforce – what it can do, how quickly it can deliver results, and how accessible it is. The experience reinforced the value of collaboration and creative thinking as we continue to embrace AI-driven solutions.
