Highlights from London's Calling 2025: As chosen by the Credera Team

London’s Calling is the largest community-led event for Salesforce professionals, attracting over 800 in-person attendees each year. Organised and run by passionate individuals from within the Salesforce community, it aims to unite Salesforce users, providing access to great content that educates and adds value for everyone involved.

London’s Calling 2025 was one to remember, and the Credera team was there to soak in all the insights. Here’s a roundup of the most interesting and inspiring talks that stood out to us.

1. A full marketing overview with Salesforce

The “Salesforce Marketing Cycle” talk presented by Jon Dytor provided an overview of the challenges faced by many organisations when it comes to Marketing. Managing multiple siloed websites and disconnected email campaigns is a common problem.

Jon painted a picture of a dream scenario where all marketing tools work seamlessly together. How do you get there? He suggested implementing Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly known as Pardot) for email automation, creating a self-service customer portal on Experience Cloud, and centralising reporting through Analytics Studio. This session highlighted the importance of having integrated systems for streamlining marketing efforts and improving customer engagement, using real-life examples.

2. Don’t hit the (limit) wall

Salesforce MVP Keir Bowden's session on Proactive Limit Management targeted Salesforce developers, addressing the seemingly inevitable challenge of breaching limits when creating enterprise solutions. He highlighted different types of limits, including platform, time-based, and transaction limits, and discussed the need for efficient coding practices to avoid hitting these limits. Keir showcased strategies such as “bulkification” and filtering unnecessary records, warning against quadratic complexity in algorithms. He also advocated for using platform events over debug logs for real-time limit monitoring, as they provide immediate delivery and maintain order. To dive deeper into this topic, check out Keir's open-source solution, LimitTracker, on GitHub

Also, check out Keir’s perspective on this year’s London’s Calling and how it differs from the previous nine. With nearly two decades in the Salesforce ecosystem, Keir is certainly an expert. And don’t forget to watch the recording of the recent Salesforce Summer ‘25 Release webinar that Keir guest-hosted for Credera.

3. Five steps to level up your Salesforce Marketing Cloud

In her session, “Essential Fundamentals to Keep Your Instance Clean”, Hannah Nimchuk shared key tips for maintaining a clean and efficient Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) instance. She outlined five straightforward steps to optimise your instance, from checking your journeys and automations to cleaning up data architecture, content builder, and user setup.

Key takeaways included the need for regular system maintenance to avoid performance issues and security risks, as well as keeping up with naming conventions for folders and files. This was a great reminder that a well-organised SFMC can significantly improve your marketing campaigns and overall platform performance, while a cluttered instance can lead to system overload, wasted budgets, and security vulnerabilities

4. Auto-generate your project documentation

In his session, “Auto-generate your SF project documentation site with open-source and Agentforce”, Nicolas Vuillamy introduced an innovative approach to generating technical documentation quickly using open-source tools. By leveraging the sfdx-hardis VS Code extension combined with Agentforce, he demonstrated how to create comprehensive and organised documentation in mere hours. This method not only saves time but also ensures that documentation is easily accessible and up-to-date, which is crucial for any successful project.

5. Think Big, prompt smart

In this very engaging session on Mastering Salesforce Prompt Builder for AI Success, Navin Aswani and Neha Nagori explored the art of crafting effective prompts for AI. They reminded the audience about the importance of clarity and context in instructions, breaking down the essential elements of a good prompt. The key takeaway? Well-defined prompts lead to better AI output, making it easier for users to leverage AI capabilities effectively.

London’s Calling 2025, as is always the case, was full of inspiring discussions and innovative ideas, and Credera strives to keep on top of it all. To stay updated on our latest insights and developments and be the first to know about future events, remember to follow us on LinkedIn
