Texas Capital Bank, a publicly traded financial institution with $33.5 billion in assets, sought to migrate an on-premise database to a cloud platform to boost dynamic reporting and analytical needs. Credera was engaged to provide expertise and deep data solution architecture experience to validate and improve processes and data models.

The Solution

Migrating on-premise database to cloud platform.

Credera implemented cloud technology and migrated their on-premise database. To kick off the engagement, Credera performed a program strategy assessment and identified stakeholder pain points to drive program strategy. From there, Credera recommended data governance processes and tools. Additional tactics throughout the process included:

• Evaluated cloud data platform end state to help develop a technical design and implementation plan for Azure​.

• Implemented an Azure framework and integrated existing on-premise infrastructure.  ​

• Provided technical expertise for infrastructure and enterprise-wide reporting needs. ​

• Validated data models, source-to-target mappings, and data architecture.

Enabled for daily receipts and refreshes of data, which allowed enterprise-wide analytical (OLAP) cubes to be generated and leveraged by the client, driving key business and financial decisions.​

Streamlined Migration Process​

Created a documented and repeatable process for onboarding and migration of new data sources to Azure.

Improved Customer Reporting

Integrated multiple customer data systems to enable timely report to delivery for bank clients.
