Until now, the task of sorting through data to determine a school’s strengths and weaknesses was very cumbersome. According to Facebook, the platform “is a social utility that helps people communicate more efficiently with their friends, family, and coworkers.” More and more companies are logging on and engaging with their customers because it allows companies to interact with individuals in a way they haven’t been able to do in the past. Companies utilize Facebook for promotions, contests, ads, and to address fans’ (think prospective customer) comments. A new feature now allows companies to display an ad on friends’ pages when an individual “likes” a company or makes a comment about a company. Retailers and Facebook, alike, know the power of a friend’s recommendation.

Today, Credera marks its first day of business in its new headquarters in Dallas. The company will now reside at The Colonnade located at 15303 Dallas Parkway, Suite 300, Addison, TX 75001. Over the past 18 months, Credera has attracted a number of talented individuals, which has resulted in a significant increase in headcount at the Dallas office. For a period of time, the Dallas Headquarters, which was formally located at Park Central 789, was able to lease additional temporary office space to accommodate its growing workforce, but has now decided to relocate within Dallas altogether and office under the same roof.

A former Vice President and Java Practice Leader with Credera has now joined Broadleaf Commerce, an open source eCommerce company. Brian Polster, now the President and COO of Broadleaf Commerce will be joined by Jeff Fischer, CTO and other software developers.
