Partner and Chief Digital Officer
Phil is Credera’s Chief Digital Officer and a Partner in our Dallas office. Phil is responsible for leading Credera’s Digital and MarTech teams, as well as Credera's Customer Engagement & Commerce services alongside Cody Case. He joined the firm as a manager in 2010 and was promoted to Partner in 2019.
Phil has an extensive background in eCommerce and MarTech. His background in consumer facing websites and eCommerce ranges from platform and feature development, operational definition, website performance optimization, analytics, a/b testing, and SEO and SEM best practices. Phil has extensive experience in martech enablement within multiple industries including healthcare, retail, telecommunications, and financial services. His experience includes developing firm-wide methodologies spanning martech architecture integration, customer journeys, audience creation, adtech enablement, marketing orchestration and automation, content intelligence, and analytics and attribution.
Phil began his career as a Consultant at Ernst & Young and continued to work in the tech consulting space across a variety of industries throughout his career. During this time, Phil's work included helping a global telecommunications brand define and launch their first-generation digital mobile products, custom software development, and business intelligence. He later became the Director of eCommerce at Interstate Batteries in 2008 before joining Credera.
Phil graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering. Outside the office, Phil enjoys playing tennis and hockey. He can also be found spending time with his wife and two children, Layton and Londyn.
