Situation

This company is the market leader in providing full-service solutions in the areas of expositions, conventions, and corporate events. The client was running a manual order entry receiving process on custom-developed applications. The system no longer met business needs, and did not allow for future growth opportunities.

 

In order to position the business for efficient growth in the future, we launched an e-Business Platform Software Selection and Implementation initiative to review the client’s order entry receiving functions and to select an appropriate e-Business Platform software vendor.

  • A detailed evaluation of the current process state, determined by assessing and documenting existing business processes and manual order entry issues. High, medium and low priorities broken out by business process.
