The company, now called Credera, was founded in 1999. Over the last decade, Credera has expanded its service offerings to meet the needs of its clients in the areas of Management Consulting, Microsoft Solutions, Java Solutions, and Business Intelligence Solutions. Such clients have included Neiman Marcus, Freeman, American Heart Association, Blockbuster, U.S. Postal Service, Interstate Batteries, and hotels.com among others.

In 2004, Rob Borrego and David Dobat left well-known and respected consulting firms to join Matt Levy, one of the founding partners at Credera.
