Job Description:
Credera is looking for a strong manager/architect with proven success managing Business Intelligence implementations. This role requires deep experience in data warehouse and business intelligence tools, technologies, architecture, and current trends in data delivery and information management. Candidates must have a deep background in technical development of BI solutions and show a proven ability to lead projects and manage teams. This position will be involved on projects delivering technical implementations as well as strategic vision (e.g., portfolio planning, assessments, etc.) for Business Intelligence programs at numerous client sites. Responsibilities will include managing project teams, mentoring staff in BI best practices and Credera standards, assisting with the recruiting process to identify, interview and select BI talent, and assisting with BI practice business development.
Position Expectations:
- Serve as a member of the Business Intelligence practice leadership team; Assist with practice planning, recruiting, and business development activities
- Participate as a Business Intelligence expert during the sales cycle
- Properly estimate the size, effort, schedule and cost of a Business Intelligence implementation
- Serve as project director for custom and packaged BI implementations; Adhere to project execution disciplines in change control, status reporting, issue and risk management, deliverable management, knowledge transfer and project tracking
- Develop strong, trusted partnerships with clients through solid project delivery while adhering to Credera core values
- Leverage technical background as necessary to ensure solution exceeds client expectations and technical issues are resolved
- Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, client-facing role where delivering solid work products to exceed high expectations is a measure of success
- Willingness to coach and lead team members in best practices and technical knowledge
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of professional experience developing 'best in class' BI solutions (e.g., report design, dashboards, performance analysis, tuning skills, migration tools and activities, etc.)
- Strong skills conducting functional and technical requirement gathering sessions with business executives
- Deep experience in Kimball and Inmon modeling techniques (logical and physical design)
- Experience designing and developing ETL processes leveraging industry technologies (e.g. Informatica, SSIS, etc.) following best practices
- Experience designing and developing a rich user experience leveraging industry technologies (e.g., Cognos Microsoft, Business Objects, etc.) following best practices
- Proven capability leading small to medium size teams through multi-week and multi-month implementations
- Previous experience in a full-service consulting firm required
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other technical-related discipline (e.g., math, engineering, MIS, etc.)

This role requires an in-depth understanding of data warehouse and business intelligence tools, technologies, architecture, and trends in data delivery and information management. Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience developing 'best in class' solutions for data delivery (e.g., report design, dashboards, performance analysis, tuning skills, migration tools and activities, and associated best practices, etc.)
- 2+ years of professional experience with deep technical knowledge of Cognos or Microsoft BI products
- Cognos ReportNet, PowerPlay and especially Cognos 8 products (i.e., Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Query Studio, Framework Manager)
- Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Analysis Services, Integration Services, ProClarity, Performance Point, and SharePoint
- 3+ years of professional experience in multi-database environments developing data marts or data warehouses
- Working knowledge of Kimball and Inmon modeling techniques (logical and physical design)
- Experience or strong knowledge of ETL processes and best practices
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
